A Whole-Body Approach to Pelvic Health

The pelvic bones, pelvic floor muscles, pelvic organs, and all of the associated fascia are a central hub in the whole-body fascial and nervous system web.

Through Myofascial Release therapy, we can gently shift the patterns in the body as a whole that create dysfunction in the pelvic floor.

While some of this work is direct with the pelvis, lower abdominal fascia, internal and external pelvic floor muscles and fascia, addressing the global patterns in the body supports pelvic health and resolves dysfunction in a lasting way.

Kind Words from Clients

“I have come to MFR for hip pain and pelvic floor instability. I had tried stretching,  yoga, massage and PT prior to trying MFR. Since receiving MFR treatment, squats and deadlifts feel better. I have better continence with stress (sneezing, laughing, jumping). I also feel I have more tools to ‘treat myself’ when something new comes up. My understanding of my body and fascia has made it easier to continue my healing on my own. Before I tried it, I thought MFR might hurt but it didn’t and I found it very relaxing. I was surprised at how much emotional processing and release I got from a body-based treatment.”

What to Expect

Treatment is always individualized to your body, your comfort level, and your goals.

Myofascial Release uses gentle, sustained pressure rather than forcing the body to change. We’ll work together to identify areas of restriction and give your body the time and support it needs to release.

You’ll also have the opportunity to better understand your body and learn ways to support your own healing outside of sessions.
